... its a 2001 Catera with under 50K miles on the clock.
As it can be seen by the pictures it is in pristine condition.
Wish I had the money to go buy it!

That looks very well indeed Cat - I do like the centre console over the European design. 8-)
For interest, how much money was on the car?
-
That's nice mate, but yours is better :y
-
I have got to agree the yanks have got the prettier interior than european gm.
I would love to get hold of a catera bootlid and fit it to my dads Elite.
The switch gear on the dash looks a lot better quality than the facelifts switches over here.
-
That engine bay looks like the car hasnt been out of the showroom yet.
-
Owner wants 6500USD for it, which is not too bad considering the car has less 47000mi and it looks like it has been garaged all ov its life.
Everything on it look spractically new, from the engine to the interior to paint...
Just wish I had the money to go buy it and slowly retire mine since I am at the 160k mark and soon I plan to sell it and perhaps find one like this! This is the lowest miles SPORT Catera that I have ever come across!.
-
About 4000 GBP - which is strong enough - although for the obvious condition of the car it would be tempting for some.
It's odd to see that the speedometer tops out at 140 mph whereas European V6 cars read up to 160 mph if I recall correctly.
-
I did look it up in the KBB and its value is right at 5300$ but because its in such a good shape he is charging extra but still its by far the cleanest one I have seen yet... most are quite beat up, and the sports are quite rare here, since only 1000 units were sold in 2001...
359 of them were in silver the rest were split between black and white.
So this is one of the last good rare examples of this car on this continent. Id love to be the owner of twins but at the moment its not possible, whoever grabs a hold of it however should be one lucky guy!

Looks like a new car. :y
-
Looks great love the dash layout over ours, :y
-
Looking good 8-) :y 8-)

Lovely car, although I'm gonna stick my neck out and say I prefer the euro dash! :y
-
sweet!! looks in mint condition :y

I've been looking st the grills for these, I can get one from USA shipped over for like £60 including postage.
How individual would an Omega be if it was all Caddy'd up!!
I think it would be awesome personally, even just for a laugh. Chuck on a caddy front grill, and rebadge at the back.
job done.
I'm a man on a mission ::)
-
Let me see if I can help you with that... I have my old caddy grille somewhere.
-
I really love that car, with those refreshing differences to the UK Omega 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) :y :y :y :y
It is like a few cars I have physically seen in the States, I just wish I had the money to import them into the UK :D :D ;)
PS The next best solution would be to live in the States and drive that car; now that really would be cool! 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) :y :y

^ I think it would be rather easy to swap out the externals of this US version to your UK one...
I think there are a few people on here that would love to swap parts...
Id love to have the EURO look on mine to separate it from the rest of the US cars..
And I think you guys have the better cars out there with the 3.2L and manuals.. .we only have a detuned 3.0L with automatic.
Mine is modified quite a bit and I think would keep up with a euro 3.2L if it wasnt as heavy as it is but for now it does the job!
I think in the future the goal would be to get a manual swap and a 3.2L swapped in it as well as some weight reduction, and that would keep me happy for a little while!
Makes me wonder tho why GM didnt install the US tail on teh 2002-up models, since that would have been a form of a facelift.

That would be awesome. Id be more than happy to do a swap with someone for the US grill..
Let me know if you have a spare one and I'll sort you out with some money!
Depends if your old one is a facelift model or not.
Thanks

Honestly I prefer the euro dash, but I love the american grille
