Title: My New 3.2 Estate
Post by: Lazydocker on 26 May 2011, 12:31:32
I'll bow to pressure and post up a few pics... It's not been cleaned or anything special but people keep asking for them so....

Full Elite Spec, CID, Telematics, 66500, FVxSH.

Took a long time to find one I wanted but it's finally happened :y

It'll be burning LPG soon and I'll finally have what I've been searching for :y

Not been cleaned?? You're having a giraffe! ::)

Stunning motor you've found there Paul, and I know you've been after one of these for ages. :y

Would look even nicer with Irmscher kit on. ;)

It's tempting, but I'll have to wait. I gave strong money for this car and have already spent 4 figures on parts (LPG included) for it so ::) ::)

But... SWMBO hadn't even been out in it when she said we had to try and get a deal on it so it's all done with her blessing :y :y

As for cleaning... It looks OK in the pictures (it was washed yesterday by the foreigners ;)) but has a thin film of pollen/dust all over it already >:( :'(

Congratulations on finding your perfect car Paul!  She really does tick all your boxes!

I'll look forward to seeing her in the metal, and I'll be very interested to see how you get on with the LPG!

I probably would have done if I couldn't get a deal though ;)

Although I'd have expected him to do all the work I'm doing on it now (LPG Excluded) if I was paying that ;)

It's all right... They do a very good and thorough job and use fresh buckets, sponges and water very frequently ;) ;)

Plus, I'm in no fit state to wash it myself at the moment so it has to be them ;)

Very smart. What is it? :P

Only kidding, looks like mine, only bluer and more automaticy and shinier. :y

If you're planning to keep it for ever and ever, it may well pay you to switch the carpets, kick panels and possibly the seat backs for charcoal ones. That sandy beige trim will show every scuff.  :(

Will you be taking it to Bucks on Monday, and will it be LPG'd by then if you are? :-/

Enjoy it. :y

black leather.. phew..

10 minutes of sun and it starts to burn me in the car..

white omega chairs are very rare here.. if I try to buy from europe the transportation costs added to their price makes it logical to dress new leather here.. :P

They were hard to find here too... My specific requirements for the car are what meant it took 2.5 years to find one I wanted ::) ::)

Yep... But I didn't pay any of the prices he advertised it at ;) ;)

Thankfully, as it turned out, because the full history wasn't worth a light when it comes to it... A few more short interval oil changes and it'll be there though :y :y

Yeah... I watched it for about 8-10 weeks before I went to look at it. Pleased with it now... Just a few more little bits to do and it'll be up to my expectations :y
