A very neat and lovely car there! 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-)
Well done for finding that :y :y :y
-
I did get it very cheap with a promise of I would take great care of her, the previous owner had had her since new and had just retired and brought himself a brand new insignia
-
Nice clean example well done a credit to the marque :y
-
Thanks..... Have a couple of minor modifications brought and ready to fit which include an upgraded grill along with smoked side repeaters and possibly will get some new alloys but with me it's a case of finding the time lol

Smoked can look OK on a dark/black car but IMHO smoked would spoil the look of yours and ordinary clear lenses work just as they are.
:y :y :y
-
super tidy, good find :y
-
..very nice. Good to get one that someone has cherished too - great photos :y :y

Will take on board your comment on the side repeaters, and yeah she was a good find for the money I paid and let's say I'm more then happy with it........

Very much so and the guy was very reluctant to let it go as it was his pride and joy, it's been used to living in a heated garage so i'm feeling a little guilty now it has to live outside...i was reading through the history yesterday and it has had the oil changed every 3,500 miles with the gearbox fluid every year along with the coolant, so its been very well looked after through its life.....
Thanks everyone for the comments :y
-
Lovely example. Very nice find :y
-
Your car looks stunning mate, well done :y
-
Don't put any mods on that car Nathan, it's a very nice original model and, if you ever want to sell it, original is best.
-
very nice indeedy :y

What a beautiful car! Silver is a great colour on the elites too. You had a very good find.
;)

Thanks Mate, i'm only going to fit the irmischer grill and late 2003 alloys, all the original parts will however be kept in case i do sell it... but i know where your coming from with the original look

Managed to locate an irmcher grill on the german eBay site and it should be here in about a week, the guy I brought it off said the mv6 front bumper was a better way forward for myself as the charges for large items from abroad would outstrip the price of the item plus they are so rare to find these days along with all the other irmcher items for the omega...... We shall see as I'm in no rush at the moment 8-)

One of the nicest I've seen so far :y :y :y

Great find Nathan, will you be selling the wheels when the new ones arrive?

That looks really good! I mean, why would anyone sell that?

The guy was about to retire and he brought himself an Insignia so i guess he wanted something that was going to cost less pennys to run and maintain through his retirement..

Very True, but i prefer the sportier MV6 to be honest
Looking for a 3.2 Auto with leather :y
-
Stick with the elite, haven't you got something sporty already.
There's alot to be said for wafting along :y I've had both and prefer the elite, the mv6 obviously corners alot better but if you really want a sporty car the omega ain't it.
-
Love it

Yes the RS is great to be honest, but i use the omega everyday to preserve the RS and i find the omega a little bit loose in the corners, dont get me wrong the Omega is a lot of things the RS is not and i love both but im now thinking about just uprating the shocks and springs and keeping it, i love the 3.2's power and the fuel is not bad at all to be honest as i do roughly £40 a week driving it carefully :y
-
Love it
Thanks Mate :y
She's going in Friday to have the front end resprayed due to a few marks on the Bumper and stonechips on the bonnet.......

Why don't you just put MV6 suspension on the Elite Nathan? It's a relatively simple job. :y

absolutely beautiful specimen. from the pics there appears to be no rust or imperfections. this should be in a museum to preserve it!!!!
gorgeous car :y
