Seen those inline motors quite a bit, and I been wondering what the deal is with them?

More power? If so how much?

V6 is used because of its size...
I6 is known to have better torque... maybe thats why... on a heavy car a torquer engine does the trick

price.... good 3.0 v6 (x30xe) cost here in Finland 1500-2000€ and good 3.0 R6 (c30se) cost 500-1000€

S6 is a lot heavier than V6 - same(ish) kinda power output, so your power to weight ratio will be down on say a 3.0 MV6.
Doesn't matter if you're having that much fun though!!!

However, the next logical step to fitting an S6 24V is a Lotus 3.6 GET.
I know it's been done before, but who says it can't be done again? ;)

Waste of time, for me - the gains over standard ain't all that much. ;)

377BHP and over 400lb/ft torque from a Lotus lump does it for me - but you will need the gearbox and diff!
