Must be clean, good history with t&t, saloon or estate.
Prefer an MV6, but would consider Elite or CDX if leather fitted - not bothered if no leather in MV6.
Colour not too important, but black or dark blue preferred.
Engine capacity - owt from 2.5 to 3.2, auto box. Would go for 2.5 diesel with manual box.
Have a mint little 52 Astra with 5 1/2 months tax and 12 months MOT to trade, p/x or sell first (£1850).

I love the colour and wanted it before, but lack of job at the time forbode it, so to have it dangled in front of me now is very tempting!!!!
My Astra is a 1.6 petrol, 5 door hatch with alloys, AC, wood (huh huh) and leather steering wheel (WOW!) as standard, painted Star Silver and just a few stonechips. Mint otherwise. Just like this......

What's the mileage on the Omega now?
Almost time for the cambelt tensioners and water pump to be done, I assume?
Has the bonnet pull issue been resolved - can the bonnet be opened?

sorry pedro - really looking for a diesel van, but i would've taken a diesel estate astra :(
the search continues.........regards the mig its done 94k, everything in the ad is the same except a small hole in the exhaust which needs to be patched, if i'm keeping or selling privately i'll get it fixed, if i'm using it as a trade in i won't :y

I have to look at a car locally to me on Thursday - not exactly what I want, but it's a dealer willing to swap cars. Good - no worries about selling the Astra to fund the Omega, and er, local.
But a member on here has also offered exactly what I want - so I just have the Astra to sell.
So if anyone is interested or knows someone else who is looking for a cracking, smallish, economical, mint little Astra, please, please, please point them my way!

Did you ever find the Omega you wanted?
I have a nice 2.5 V6 CDX in star silver with factory fitted Irmscher front spoiler and lip on the boot. (Sorry no leather).
It has just over 100,000 miles on it and everything works. However, it cold possibly do with a new head gasket at some stage, but has been fine with it for years.
I would also be very interested in the Astra for SWMBO, as the Omega has an expensive petrol habit for what she wants. She has hinted at using my Diesel S-Type for work, but I would rather buy her another car, if you know what I mean! ;)
