My dad is thinking of selling the miggy as (being an older gent) he is having difficulty driving and mainly parking it - with it being a larger car etc
:(
So I thought Id throw up a quick ad in case anyone wants a good clean example 2.6 Auto.
- 82,200 miles 02 Reg
- Full Vauxhall service history 7 (or 8) stamps and all paperwork serviced every year.
- Cambelt/tensioner/waterpump, camcover gaskets, breathers cleaned, spark plugs, camshaft sensor, oil and coolant change done by Darth in January at 81,800 miles (all VX NEW parts)
.. and breath....
- Front pads and disks, fuel filter, key fob battery and regular service + whole new exhaust in June last year (78K miles)
Only 3rd owner (last owner had it for 7 years!)
Tax to September, MOT till July
Front area in as new condition no bonnet chips or dings etc..
Interior immaculate (just drivers mat could do with replacing and drivers door handle showing some wear)
Bodywork in overall very good condition minor scuffs on rear bumper and small crack on top edge of bumper (not really visible) see pic
20p piece of rust beginning to show on rear of tailgate and a very small ding/dent over passenger rear tail-light see pic
A couple of bits Ive not had a chance to sort - no car pass radio in safe mode and no tool kit in boot, but wheel jack and locking nuts present.
Drivers door looking motor is lazy - needs replacing have a new motor but not had a chance to replace it.
Spent close to £500 getting all the important bits sorted in the last 3 months - but my dad is the main driver, and if he is having difficulty, then we need to let it go. :(

Drivers perfect no faults had a recent misfire and EML light but all sorted (see my other posts in March)
runs ridiculously smooth with perfect gear changes - mechanically solid all round. :y
Will consider a p/x for a smaller car of same or lower value but must be an auto and 5 doors.
For a great example miggy thats been looked after all its life with all paperwork, and has recently been fully sorted by Daz and the very kind members on this forum, looking for only £1750 ono please.
If I've missed anything out or more info please ask happy to speak on phone PM for details.
Thanks everyone
Raf

excellent ad, good luck :y

Strangely quiet on my front.... is there something I'm missing...?
A low-mid mileage with full annual VX service history, '02 reg miggy with new cambelt, exhaust, front discs, crankshaft sensor (and more) and recent service..... at a a fair price (I thought).... and no interest..... :-/

I don't usually comment on members cars for sale, only to have a whinge about not enough detail pics etc.
Excellent ad with all the detail you could want.....but you may be better off advertising it elsewhere.
You would think this is the best place to advertise an Omega, but it seems not, I've tried and I didn't get any response. I've still got mine to sell, but I ain't giving it away.
It's got to be a real bargain to sell on here, or an exceptional car or rare sought after model to get the interest on here.
Good luck with the sale anyway. :y

Bear in mind, that most people o the site already have an Omega. That's why they're here. ;)
The car looks great. :y :y

Yup Autotrader first port of call, personally i would avoid eBay in your situation, as you don't need it gone quickly, you can wait for a bite on AT.
Only use eBay as a last resort if you need a quick sale

Thanks Tunnie, but it's like £30+ to advertise on AT - so thought I'd give it a go here first to see if there is any interest - but it's up on PHs now as well.
He is not in a mega hurry to sell it - but thought there would be at least someone throwing in an offer. Not to worry, I'm not grumbling, was just wondering if I was missing something.
Cheers everyone

Just wanted to make a point re Ebay as mentioned earlier in the thread...
Ive always had a great experience on Ebay myself.. Just start it off at the minimum you are willing to take for it, ie, £1750 ( Or £1500 or whatever) and let it run for however long... only costs a few quid if it doesnt go, then 1% or something of the sold price if it does... Ebay is a very useful thing as long as you start the auction off at the lowest price you are willing to take for it... None of this "Start it at 99p" rubbish..
Ive sold 4 cars on Ebay and got exactly what I wanted on each one.. :)
