'VK03 XZB' is a Vauxhall Omega 3.2 V6 Elite estate first registered on the 24th of March 2003. It is presented in Black Sapphire mettalic (Z20R) with full charcoal leather and wood trim.
It has covered 61,262 miles from new with full service history to support the mileage.
This Omega has had two previous owners on the V5C, first being Vauxhall themselves, it was a demonstrator vehicle. The second owner is The Metropolitan Police Service. This is an ex police vehicle.
The vehicle has 6 months RFL and the MOT is valid until the 26th of May 2011.
Some features of this vehicle include; (Sorry for the long list, as most know the spec)
Xenon Headlights with dynamic beam levelling and headlight washers.
17'' Alloy wheels with Michelin Primacy HP tyres with 7mm of tread.
Rain sensing wipers
Solar reflect windscreen (you can tell by the fact it looks purple/pink)
NCDC 2013 with GID
Cruise control
Sunroof
Auto dimming rear view mirror
Heated seats x4
3 memory settings for the drivers seat rear view mirror and door mirrors. The rear view mirror is motorised.
Self levelling rear suspension (working)
Dual zone climate control (Working and ice cold)
Rear parking sensors
(Note to TB) - The ashtray works :D
There are going to be in effect two prices for this vehicle. It currently has many many surface scratches on it, some minor, some deep. That will need to be sorted.
Where I got this vehicle from, there was strong competition for it...but I wanted it no matter how much it went for. I've always wanted an '03' 3.2 Elite in black, but a saloon. But, I thought I'd try an estate, it's nice but I'd much prefer a saloon so I don't want to keep it and will sell it to a forum member for break even.
This vehicle currently stands me at £3189. £3055 purchase price plus £134 for 6 moths RFL. (Both receipts here to prove)
If a forum member before Monday midday expresses an interest, they can have it for dead break even.
If not, then I shall have all the scratches taken out and put it up at £4995 on ebay and autotrader. I know many will think £4995 is far too much, but have a quick look on autotrader. I wish I could make it more competively priced, but initial purchase price was high.
I normally try to give forum members a better price than anyone else, in this case I can't do them a very good deal. Someone else wanted the car, but I wanted it more. That's the way sometimes so I apologise, especially to those who have contacted me who are after a 3.2 Elite estate.

If you have a comment to make such as I would have bought it if it was blue/an estate/manual/satnav/friday/whatever, then do so by PM, NOT on the thread.

I think black is the best colour for Omega's...but I'm with you about the estate part. Everytime I look at this Omega, I think..'Damn, wish it was a saloon' ;D

I guess the 2.5 DTI is the same BMW engine as in the 5 series? Is it detuned like the old TD version?

Isn't it always the case when you can't find the right car, settle for something else cos you need a car NOW, and then, 3 or 4 months later, when you haven't got all the money spare, the IDEAL car appears for the right money......
Lifes a bitch.
Not really complaining, cos I love my 99 elite estate, but this is EXACTLY what I was trying to buy 5 months ago,
and I STILL want one!!!!
-
Thread pruned to keep it on track and to try to keep it within forum rules
-
I haven't been online today until now, was there an apsect of my original post not following the guidlines? Sorry if there was :-[
I hadn't read the thread, so not sure what was pruned...but I can't actually rememeber my original post and whether it was altered.
-
why dont you paint and keep it or retail it having paid loads for it mate, it is a tidy car if you see past the superficial marks.
pm or call me, i have the bits you needed for it.
-
Then swap it with me for my pre-F/L 3.0 estate, and let me work off the rest of the money in your garage wiring cars!!!!!!
Seems like a plan........................??
(ok, I'm going......................sob......sob........)
Really want that car, wonder how much I can sell my body to science for.............??? :'( :'(
-
I want one too... :P
How many gears in the box? As you know, Hans V-6 has D-4-3-2 in his very late Opel omega, I was wondering if the same box was put on latest Vauxhalls as well...
-
I'm pretty sure it's just a 4 speed, I don't have the car with me at the moment...but didn't notice it to have 4-3-2. I will check when I get it back, but I don't think any UK model got the 5 speed auto. Be interesting to drive a 5 speed one.
-
Josh......
Do you do part ex??
(seriously.....this is the car I have been looking for for the last ten months.......!!)
-
Mike,
Yep I always consider P/X's.
This Elite estate is now in the bodyshop having everything sorted on it, so isn't ready yet. I imagine it would be ready either by Thursday or Friday. When it's completed, proper detailed photo's will be taken. But of course, any test drive, viewing is always welcomed :y

Only the Y25DT engine got the 5 speed auto in any Omega. Seeing as the UK didn't get that engine (2.5DTi sold from 2001 onwards to Opel badged Omegas, Vauxhall Omegas got the lesser 2.2DTi), it will be a 4 speed.
-
Hi, have you sold your car yet? I would be interested to view if not too far from Bristol.
-
Likewise. Whereabouts near to Oxford are you?
Cheers!
-
Sorry to Ed and Khyber for the late reply;
The vehicle is indeed still for sale. It is still in the paint shop, and is unlikely to be ready until next week. However, I'm going to be in Wales next week from Sunday the 18th until the following Friday. By the time I get back, the vehicle will be ready.
I'm in Kidlington, which is 4 miles from Oxford city centre. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask away :y
