Post by: miniator on 29 June 2009, 14:35:54
Due to issues with my car this is for sale!

Will this work properly in a mini-facelift? As in, once it's paired it'll display all its supposed to? Don't need anything else?

lizzie - surely itll just go where the old screen is? CDX may not have the RGB lead though.

Toby - i honestly cannot say if it will work in a mini-facelift. i wouldnt want to say yes or no either! The trip computer will have to be programmed to the car, ie, gearbox type, engine size, tyre size etc etc

Requires an appropriate head unit to drive it, correct wiring and to be in delivery mode to allow it to be paired with headunit then programmed to match car configuration

It's not too much of a problem to fit TBH, and a doddle if you already have a 2013 / 2015 with the mono screen GID, just a quick visit to one of the Tech II chaps!  :y

What would involve getting that CID to work in my 2.2 miggy other than a visit to  tech II?? Do i need to rewire(RGB loom ) and get a head unit to drive it ?
