Title: V6 manual Gearbox convertion

I have from breaking my car a complete manual gearbox set up comprising of,

5 Speed gearbox
Gearstick and connections
Hydralic pipework
Pedalbox
Mounts for 'box and exhaust
Flywheel
Clutch (ONLY DONE 3000MILES!!! NEW LESS THAN A YEAR AGO)

and anything else you need to complete the convertion

I can get it couriered to you at a cost of £40, but collection prefered

£100 ono

2.5 or 3.0? Someone on here near me is looking at doing his...

its from a 2.5 but i am told its fine on the 3.0

no the cruise switch went with the crusie control

3.0 & 2.5 have different gearboxes & clutch sizes DMF maybe the same

don't know about it fitting the 3.2 have a search on here...

Gaz you'll need an R28 gearbox, the 2.5 has an R23 and won't live long bolted to a 3 litre :y

its a r25 box on 2.5 and will handle a 3.0 no probs at all  :y

I have a 3.0 ltr man R28 box for sale if any one is interested. £75. Can deliver within a reasonable area. all unreasonable areas can be discussed ;D  I am near to croydon/Wimbledon.

do you have all other bits to do the conversion with the gearbox

Sorry jim just the gearbox mate, need to get shot asap as i keep moving the bugger around the garage. I may be going to north yourkshire[Scarboro] within the next couple of weeks so if you want it and it is conveniant then let me know.

Is the R28 a good box?

I'd offer £50 for it, given that I'm gonna put a proper gearbox in the MV6 :D
