Title: 3.0 cams

as above, full set off cams out of an ex-plod 3.0 MV6. 152k on clock, no signs of damage. £100 posted

If I'm having the heads - I will need the camshaft shells too mate ;)

Don't forget - the shells are matched to the heads (line bored) and not the cams...

Anyone changing cams, would need to use their old shells  :y

good job you pointed that out. for other cars i've broke up in the past people have wanted them with the cams!  :y

Lol - it's a common mistake, people often fit the shells from the car the cam's came from...

It's a recipe for disaster, and can cause damage quickly (Ask Kevin Wood, I think his mate snapped a camshaft  :o )

The shells are machined to the heads - any VX head is useless without the camshaft shells....   :y

apparently, I've heard 10 -15bhp increase.  :y
