was it off an auto? 2.5 petrol?
-
Got an ECU off a 2000 MY 2.0ltr auto. All good but would need a chat with TechII
-
Does it have the dx code on top?
-
Only #`s on the unit are 085 (in an oval shape) with 00595 underneath and 085093 0 273 004 207. All those are on the Bosch label. Stamped on the black housing is PBT GF30
-
on the metal bit, inbetween all the brake pipes will be two big letters, eg DX, WA etc
-
Ah, you mean the ABS modulator. Left that on the car when it was scrapped
-
was it off an auto? 2.5 petrol?
was auto and petrol come of 3.0

I'll take it mate. Pm me your paypal and I'll pay with a bit extra to cover paypal fees. It does include the ecu bit doesn't it?

PM on way :y

I'M confused now. Some people say 99% of time it's the ecu at fault and others say it's the metal block bit.

metal block is call ECU too :y
-
Ah right. To clarify then I need the metal block that has the brake pipes feeding in and also the black plastic bit that screws to the pump bit with 6 torx screws. The eBay sellers sell both bits as a complete unit but I was hoping to only have to replace the plastic bit as per the guide in here

Is the ABS modulator pump

Remember if you dont get one off exactly the same spec vehicle ( cc, man or auto etc ), you will need a tech 2 session to set it up right
-
Thanks guys got one ordered but pretty sure I'll need a tech 2 session. Any idea on how to find one in Newcastle that isn't a vauxhall dealer
-
might be an idea to find out if someone on the forum with a tech 2 is local to you
