I personally would only buy new ones Raff no-one can say how long a secondhand one is going to last....

£70.50 delivered from eBay, and genuine Bosch ones as well.

Go for it.

Heard this Genuine 'dangle berries' off ebay before... becareful :o
-
It was a link sent to me off the forum earlier this week Daz, forget off whom, but he said he uses them.
I would buy one but cannot get it fitted locally.
1-3-5 Bank yes, 2-4-6 bank Not a chance.
Dunno why, am assuming loads more work involved.

I had the same problem - the garage I normally use near Ebbw Vale would not touch it, or another I called in Merthyr... ended up doing it myself using the excellent 'how-to' and what I could remember when James took it out to change the plugs last year :y It's not such a bad job - the only difficult part really was opening that bloody cable tray... especially in the freezing cold (plastic more brittle :( )... but I've done it again since (to check for water), and indeed, practice makes perfect!

Why would anyone brag about working in Merthyr ?
Keep that quiet, no-one likes workers in Merthyr, don't go up the Gurnos and say you work for a living, you will get robbed. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
If that is an offer, I had better try and buy one next week.

Good find there Di - if it is a genuine GM part - which is what it seems like. Thanks!
Problem is - do I really want to spend £70 on a part that I'm not 100% is the fault?
I guess I could sell it on if it doesn't cure the fault....

I'm sure you could sell it on.. but by the sounds of what Daz said about your coil pack (same as James said of mine), I'm sure it would sort the problem (as long as you seal up the scuttle too) :y
