has anyone got the above has to be in good condidtion and the spring needs to be strong
as my one dont sweep all the screen any more

Don't have the arm for you but you must use genuine GM blade which is curved to fit the rear screen... that has helped so far :-) Of course your arm can be damaged and worn, but the wrong blade is the problem in most cases

............nowt to do with the blade (GM or otherwise).
The arm and spring are the culprits here.
You need a new arm and spring to put the tension back and hold the blade down on the glass. I only use GM blades on the rear wiper
I replaced mine Oct 07 and it no longer holds the blade flat in the entire 'sweep' of the wiper. It misses the top of the glass on my car.... :'( :'(

Looks better than standard - I should think it would clean better too, as I've never seen a bad Focus rear window, and they're like a goldfish bowl omega rear window.

Same here - but just ordered a new set of 3 flat blades.
There is a forlorn looking Focus down my street though...........

Try giving it a bit of lubrication :o
Mine was missing parts of the screen, until I freed it up a bit, still does but not as bad.
