Title: It must of been hot today....
Post by: Taxi_Driver on 04 August 2007, 20:48:38
Omega was reporting outside temp of 24C

And fan for radiator kept going into turbo mode......altho temp guage didnt go above 85/86C

Glad i had the aircon fixed this week...i needed it today  :y

Tho its still not brilliant i reckon.....when the sun is out shining on the sun sensor.....the climate just puts the blower fans on max.....and thats with internal temp set to 20C.

Some of you guys reckon your aircon is brill......this maybe the v6 owners  :-/

Difference here is.....4 pots only have one cooling fan for the aircon....v6's have two.

I keep thinking will 2 cooling fans make any difference?

Anybody know if cooling fans from a prefacelift will fit a facelift?

The cooling fans wont affect a/c temp tbh.  Sounds like your a/c just isn't that effective.  After having tractor a/c sorted last weekend, its made me realise how bad the MV6 one is...

But theres got to be a reason hasnt there?

Its just had new condensor/drier/regassed so should be at max performance.....

Or is it v3 of climate control Mark mentioned in your thread?  :-/

It won't be because it's a 4 pot. My R reg 2.0 Omega used to chill my balls off...

Days like today, I have to set MV6 down to 18 or LO, but diesel around 21 or 22 today :)
