Title: Tractor head

I seem to be having trouble locating a cheap 2.5td head.  If anyone knows of one, please do let me know.

Mines coming off to fix the exhaust manifold prob  :(.....James has kindly offered to help when he comes back off hols  :y

Well given that when I saw the 'Fordson' powered lump on Saturday that the header tank was doing an impression of a mini cherry bomb exhaust, I would say and have said before

[size=72]OFF WITH ITS HEAD[/size]

just thinking  surely it would be easer and cheaper to swap the whole engine for a known good one???? especially as i know a guy that has an engine that he has had for the last four years in which he has religiously changed the oil every thousand miles!!!! :o

Cracked head or porous head likely? Or just HG? If it was HG, would have thought it would be more 'noticable'. No experience of cracked heads or porous heads?

Thats what they said in the French Revolution, although their method of head removal was a bit quicker, nice clean cut  ;D

engines the same throughout mate its only the ancillaries and management that varied over the years,dont know price but can find out
