Title: Wanted: Headlights (here we go again...)
Post by: Xplicit 2.0 on 26 November 2010, 14:49:24
once again im after headlights. Mine are getting really bad now. me and a friend did a point to point ralley the other night and i had to take it slower on all the roads i didnt really know as i couldnt see much, even with full beam! even he said they were crap!
So, im after the projector type ones to for Pre-Facelift
If they are HID even better (HID low and full beam would be magic but i hold no hopes) but at least projector type with the clear lens.
let me know what u have and how much u want for them (including the postage please)

cheers :)

Many dont like to post these as the internal adjusters are very prone to breaking.

If you can find an oofer near you, that may well be best.  :)

I have a pair of projectors available - but share concerns about the adjusters.

I'm game if you want to risk it.

There is a great way to package anything fragile to give it an excellent chance of surviving the PO's clumsy habits...surround the contents with empty plastic milk containers with the lids on...the air inside them acts well as an impact protection system and they weigh next to nothing...

That's an excellent idea - must remember that one!  Just be sure to rinse them out well I suppose, eh?  ;D
