As there are record numbers of members signed in today, what is server performance like?

I am finding it better tonight than last night. About 5 secs for a full page to come up ;)

For me, its pants.....

Takes about 15 seconds plus to load a page.

20 meg virgin broadband, 3.2/1gig mem PC, IE7 and Xp with all updates applied and a cleared cache.....   :-[

i was about to say good, but it took 5-10 seconds to load this post page. other wise generally good

Considering I am sat in a caravan with a dodgy wifi signal alternating between 1 Mbps and 36 Mbps I reckon it's pretty good. :)

Oh, and I can now see the little logo in the address bar so that has got to be progress.

my weak-as-hell wireless means i havent noticed a difference

if you re-write the page by hand and post it to me, it'll refresh quicker then my F5 button will!

Well thats clear as mud then...

Server reckons its got things under control, and router reckons it still has capacity, but was after a real world view...

Still a little slower than usual but no real probs. 2 Meg cable. :y

For me it has been a little sluggish at times. It's either been instant or it's struggled down a thread at a post or 2 a second.

When the new "shiny" one arrives  8-), will the forum be down whilst the change over takes place??

There will have to be an outage whilst the virtual machine is copied over - 10 mins or so

Was slow last night but then I was using the girlfriends dial-up  ::)
