Hello all. Bought my first Omega at the weekend.... choose an Elite 2.5 V6 on a W plate with 70k on the clock. its mint with FSH , only paid £2k for it and i love it!!!!!! don't want to be at work now, want to be out in it!!!!!!!!!

As you do doubt will have realised, if you have no proof of cambelt AND tensioners being done, that needs doing immediately. Easy enough job, but does require a cam timing kit. Also, don't believe Vauxhall's service schedule - change that oil every 5k at least. I see you are in Swindon - another member there can get genuine Vauxhall stuff at 'trade club' (better than trade prices), so may be able to help. That means you can change the oil yourself for around £15 (yours has more expensive filter than older ones)

have just had it serviced...Cams and Tensioners as recomeded by you guys as the History said it needed it in the next six months or so.....
can't stop singing the praises of the car! gonna bore my friends to death...... mind you they are all impressed with the level of spec! especially the sound system....don't worry you won't find me in Macdonalds car park............
