Hi there, thought i'd pop on and introduce myself! I'm really called Tom and from Livingston (between Edinburgh and Glasgow on the M8 if you don't know already).
Drove some crappy cars in the past 18 months since passing my driving test late on it life (i was 30, and lazy so sat the auto only test :) ) being a Pug 205 1.6 auto and a Ford Escort 1.6L auto. Picked myself up a nice 1995 2.0 GLS last week and am loving it soooooo much.
It's pre-loved and needs a wee bitty of TLC but nothing i'm worried about, it's just such a lovely big car :D
Anyway off to nosey on around the rest of the forum :)

Hi, and welcome to the forum there are some great guys on here...
I have had my Omega a few months now and I still get a smile on my face whenever i get in :y
-
Hey thanks for the welcome, had to do some bits and bobs to it, Exhaust, Trackrod End new tyres etc but for what i paid for it i'm over the moon, especially when i hear the engine roar a little :D
There's just Sooooooooooooo much room in these cars :) Think i'm addicted to Omegas now :)
-
Hi there glad you have upgraded from the 205 auto over the years. I drove a friends once .... never again!
Welcome to the site,
Gaffers
-
LOL Thanks Gaffers the 205 truely was a 5star crappy car but was great for me running about in for a couple of months after passing my test, especially as i passed in the october and had a winter to contend with - within 2 weeks of getting the 205 i'd had to drive in fog, snow, driving rain and also get the RAC out to it :) baptism of fire and all that :)
-
Hello and Welcome to the Forum. . . :y
-
Thanks Markie :y
-
:) Welcome to forum. Most migs are autos so you should be fine.
-
Thanks :D
yeah meegas being auto are a good thing :y
my brother-in-law also has a R plated 2.0 CD also so 2 of them in the family now :D although it's one of the rare ones which you have to move a stick thing and use something called a "clutch" lol
Am certainly hooked now, just terried when i looked at an insurance qupte on a 3.0 MV6 though :D lol
-
Hi Tom, sorry I we didn't meet up, baby woes! I did the the back of a star silver Megga at 5ish yesterday passing the Hotel - was it you?
And yes there is lots of room, especially in the boot - enough for a travel cot, pushchair, 2 suitcases and all the shopping from the Livingston Outlet Centre that I tried to keep hidden from the Mrs! >:(
-
lol no worries nope mine is "purple" supposedly :) more a bugendy colour in my book :)
lol the Livingston Designer outlet should have security gates preventing women for entering it :) lol
-
