Hi to all.
I've just moved over to West Yorks from Manchester, and one of the lads I now work with had a 1996(P) 2.5 V6 CD for sale, with a genuine 61,000 on the clock. Now I've had my eye on Omegas for a few years but never needed a car as I had a company car.
The guy wanted £600 for it. Now this guy has more cash than sense and I knew it needed a bit of work doing. MOT was out, Tax was out, so I offered £200 and got it for that. I put it in for an Mot and it only failed on the emmisions. The problems I was talkin about earlier was an oil leak onto the exhaust manifolds and that it runs with a slight misfire. Anyway, having done a search, I found this site. What a site. Its packed with info and the problems mentioned above, that a garage couldn't fix (because he was scared of the engine) are explained better than a Haynes manual. I'm now hooked to the site and shall be visiting daily. Thanks do administrator DTM for listing the maintenance info and I'll be intouch with him as I'll now be doing the work myself.
Cheers
