Hello, Im Mark,
Just got my first Omega, I have been wanting one of these vehicles for years, since they first came out. They are so smooth and quiet.
I have a growing family, so my budget is tight.
I have just aquired a 2.0ltr 16v Ecotech Omega CD, its not a new car its Lreg (95), but it will get me going. Has a few probs, but i will endevour to get it back to its former glory.
So you may see me asking for hints and tips.
Thanks, Mark.

It needs a few things, When i bought it 3 weeks ago, it had a full mot, no tax, got it for £250.00.
He said it had a knocking exhaust, when i drove it i heard the knocking, accepted his explanation, and took it home, i was not haggling to much, not for that money.
After having a good look under it the next day found it was the wishbone knocking, not so bad, these can be cheap enough, but makes me wonder how it has a full MOT with knocking wishy.?
Also the central locking not working, thought it might be a fuse or a soleniod, so had a look they all ok, so checked for the black box in drivers footwell, There aint one there (Just a plug), so gotta do this.
Couple of the door trims are coming loose, as they have been catching on the doors when opening.
Pixels missing from the computer thingy, but i have ordered a new one from ebay, got it for a tenner, so this ok.
Apart from that, it runs like a dream, is smooth and quiet, has a new full exhaust, 4x new tyres, so i got my moneys worth.
Plus I have 3 kiddies now, 1 a new arrival, and needed a large car, with a big boot, so gave me a good excuse to get, the much sought after Omega. I have wanted one since i was about 18, lol, my uncle had an elite and i loved it.
Anyway, thats enough from me, thanks for asking, Catch you later, Mark.
