thanks to everyone for responding! :) got it insured today, cost a fair wack :( if anyone knows of a good insurer let me know, but as its first car i have no no claims so booo had two new tyres put on today man those things cost a bit!! and had to have the handbrake fixed, other than that its been lovely to drive so far :)

Hi Marilyn, welcome to Omega World. Don't worry though because the ups more than outweigh the downs and they will definately outweigh your wallet after a few tyres and a couple of fill ups at the petrol station. Having said all that, the help and information you will find on here will definately soften the blow :) :)
