Hi Logan,
In 1989 to 1990 i spent a year in New Zealand.
Te Awamutu, Papatoetoe then Devenport.
Before i left sunny UK, people said i will be stepping back in time, yet, your cars run on LPG or CNG.
How long has LPG been in the UK?

Welcome to the site :)
We specialise in Vauxhall Omegas, which is the same as Opel Omega-B. Yours is an Omega A, which we in UK call a Carlton (was released before Vauxhall and Opel had harmonised their model names). Quite a few of us had Carltons/Omega-A's before, so should be able to help with queries :) - but worth mentioning it is an Omega-A/Carlton if you ask for help :)

Hi All,
Thanks for all your replies...you really know how to make someone feel part of a cyber family!
I searched up the wiki page on my omega before i found this site, and it said omegas after 1988 were all 24v but my omega was built in 1992 and was 12v...
note: I previously heard from the buyer that there was only a few thousand of these made in 1992 (I am not very sure on how solid his sources are)
Thanks again
Logan

Howdoo and welcome to the site. :y
I ran a Carlton (Omega A) 3 litre GSi 12 valve for a year or two before I got the Omega B 24 valve. It was a good car with the straight 6 engine. Felt a wee bit more unburstable compared to the V6, if you know what i mean. A lot of the bits and bobs (except engine) are very similar so feel free to post away but as TB says, ensure its clear that you post you have a 12 valve straight 6 rather than the V6 24 valve lump. :y
