Hi all,
Recently bought a Omega 2.2 CD Auto, 52 plate with 32k miles on for £4000. (Amazingly it was from Car Craft who generally think of a number and double it when pricing cars)
Only had it a few days and loving it so far.
Previous car was 51 Renault Laguna, nicknamed "The Space Shuttle" due to its incredible running costs, (Bought the car for £4000 privatly, over the next 6 months I had to spend approx £3500 on Turbo, Clutch, brakes, hand brakes and ball joints). Just after I got all that done I wrote it off on the M5.
Hoping for better luck with the Omega.
Over the moon that there is such a helpful forum for Omega. Hoping that I don't need you fella's much though.

I got £4500, 500 more than I payed for her, BUT about £3000 less than what I paid including fixing her.
You live and learn I suppose, this time around I decided to do my homework and look for a reliable luxury car. It was either the Omega or a Volvo V70, After looking at the market it was an easy choice, The V70's where far too expensive (They must not of heard of depriciation in Sweden). Over the moon with the 2.2 cd, with only 30k on the clock I am looking foward to couple of years stress free driving.
