hi folks  i just joined, i bought a 1998 2.5 td cd auto yesterday, I will no doubt be seeking advise  from time to time if thats ok

When you get a chance, fill out the rest of your user profile with your location, etc.  Saves folks asking where you are if you have a problem....

Guessing your from Glasgow, lots of Jocks on here now.  Keep an eye on the meetings section for 'Jockular Omega' threads....   ;)
