Title: Hello All!!

Hi
Just to say a hello, new to this forum, although I am also registered on VXON as well.  I didn't know there was a group just for us "Omeganites", so I'll be looking at this a lot from now on!

I have just purchased a 2001 3.2 Elite Omega in startling condition, which I am picking up on Saturday.  This is to replace my last 2000 2.5 immaculate CDX, which sadly both passed & failed the "rammed up the back by a 10 tonne lorry test!" :-/.  Fortunately the "pass" meant that I was alright & confirmed that I knew Omega's are built like tanks, the fail means that it has been written off at a cost of £15K to repair!

I'm looking forward to picking the new one up, after trawling through approx. 200 cars, and almost, but not quite, settling for something else.

I'll post some photos of both cars in the next week or so

Looking forward to spending time on her!

Thanx for the welcome notes, sorry for not responding sooner.  Have been trying to arrange the insurance payout for my Omega replacement, but tomorrow's the day!!
Money withdrawing in the morning, trip to Worthing on the South Coast to collect in the afternoon!!
