Need 50 posts WTF?!
-
Hi Spud and Welcome --- that, unfortunately, is not the way to get your 50 posts ::)
Join in the chat -- ask a few questions -- they soon mount up mate.
You know you want to ........ :y

Hi, welcome to the forum. :y
50 posts is no big deal matey, easly achieved on here.
http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?virboard=CarsSale;num=1209458172
Posts which are outside these guidelines are subject to modification or even deletion by the Moderators....
Avatars and Signatures
Not everyone has a 20 meg broadband connection to the forum and some use mobiles/PDA's. Please keep avatars to below 75k to avoid annoyance to low bandwidth users.
For the same reasoning as per avatars, please keep signatures to less than 3 lines of std text. If using images, the maximum height is the equivelant of 3 lines of std text, and no wider than 640 pixels.
Posting in For Sale sections
Absolutely no links to your Ebay auctions, or Ebay auction numbers.
No posting for sale items in the 'wrong' areas to get around the postcount limits.
Currently, need to be a Junior Member to advertise your car, and an Intermediate Member to advertise parts.
If you are a buyer, please ensure you are happy and confident with the seller before parting with money.
General Posting
Keep posts relevant, short, and on topic, especially on Help threads, and meeting organisation threads. General Chat is the only area where we expect things will go off at a tangent!
Keep titles relevent, and not just 'Help me' etc. Not everybody has time to read every thread
Use English, no text speak which is notoriously difficult to read.
Members being offensive to other members will not be tolerated.
DON'T USE CAPITALS! LOOKS LIKE YOUR SHOUTING!!
No discussion of acquiring or distributing copyrighted material. If you legally own/licenced the material, thats fine.
No thread bumping (posting on a thread, purely to get it to back to top of the list).
General Help
Remember, there is a search facility. Many problems have been discussed before so please use the search facility first.

It seems a bit crazy though

Hello & Welcome :y
Remember this is an enthusiasts help site, not a free car advertising site ;)
-
yeah but surely car ads are of value to everyone on the forum?
So is the contribution each and every one of us makes in posting -- helping each other -- having a laugh and sometimes a cry together -- it is also a Community
-
encourages people to write nonsense
Not usually! It is a good social site quite apart from being an educational one for information on not just cars. :y
But, if you do not like that kind of thing I perhaps this is not the best site for you! ;)
-
The 50 post limit is there for a reason.
If you simply want to sell a car, I would suggest Autotrader or similar - trying to sell here is like trying to sell sand to the Arabs.
Thread locked, as it was going nowhere.
-
Also, obviously the moderators deleting your bumping thread has knocked your postcount back down ;)
