				Hi to all

Just bought an Omega Elite V6 24v Estate (Facelift -2000), with all the trimmings (Bose, SatNav - Colour !!, 17" alloys and so on)

Absolutely delighted with it so far, 6 days into ownership having paid just £1200  8-) all seems to work, bar a wierd drivers door locking problem (using the remote locks all doors, only for the drivers one to unlock - bit pops up inside - whereas locking with the key work just fine  :o)

Anyhow, seems this forum is an excellent resource, read up a bit before going to look at the car last weekend. It was a toss-up between an Omega, a Saab 9-5 and a Volvo V70.....ultimately the Omega won through...my only criteria was luxury motoring and everything working ! and had to be pre Y-reg to avoid horrid new tax pricing ;)

Reading around, seems the CID is something of a rarity and I must say it is a great piece of kit - sure I read somewhere that there was a TV option ?? Also, my Omega has Trafficmaster fitted - warns me every now and again that licence has expired...worth renewing ?

Once again, hi to all  :)

I found the easiest way to shut up the stupid woman "Traffic Master - Licence Expired" .. was to cut the wires thet go into the stereo !!!  :)

Hi Kev, and welcome. Sounds like you have a lazy door solenoid or just the linkages need lubricating. Mine was like that for a while -- but was really down to lack of use! A few weeks of normal use saw the problem disappear!  Always try the cheapest option first!
