Title: Hello Everybody
Post by: graham131 on 06 October 2008, 16:39:50
Hi i am Graham, new to the forum.  Currently own an Omega 2.6CDX Auto 2003 03 plate Black.

Was actually looking to sell car and stumbled accross this forum.

My question is - is there a "post" count before you can create a new topic in the for sale section?

Many thanks

Graham  :)

Hi Graham. A warm welcome along :y
Depends on what you wana sell, if it's a car, then only 50 posts, but if it car parts, it's 250. We had problems with people sending the funds, but recieving the goods, but with a car it's kinda a different deal.

Yes looking to sell the car - was toying with ebay or autotrader - but when i found you guys i thought it might be a better option - people who know what to expect and what to ask - lol

I'll work on my posts

Thanks

Graham

Hello Everybody.

I too am just new to this tho hav had an omega for almost a year now..
Its a rarity compared to most here as its an Opel badged version. I know a little of its background but not of its version, it has no clues to wat edition it is but it does have the rear window blind, xenons, elite rims, full heated cream leather, cd changer and BOSE sound system.
Where i hav found the problem telling wat it is falls to the fact of its Elite spec, but manual box..
The car was apparently 1 of 4 Dark met green 2.6 V6'S imported by Fruit Of the Loom into Ireland prior to its disolving business here to be used as company cars, well at least in Northern Ireland that i know of anyhow.
Currently has 86k and is nearing its MOT!

Anybody who can shed anymore light on this motor please let me know!
Ta.

Unfortunately i will have to soon - due to age and mileage it is about to fall outside my companies policy for cars (they pay an allowance and we have to follow rules!)

I will be very sad to lose it though - brilliant car, so comfortable and drives like the day i bought it
