After buying another omega( first one stuck in my garage while i sort out a duff engine and LPG system!)i now have a 98 elite ,78k ,half decent service history and easily the most comfortable car i've ever had, bought it off e-bay £430 with almost a years m.o.t and 6 months tax, i'm looking forward(is that being too optimistic?)for some quality motoring, any hints on what to look out for ? Can't find any evidence of a cam belt change, how long can i hang on for until i need to bite the bullet and spend some cash on it?all the best, jon

Good afternoon Jon. Welcome along :y

No evidence of a cambelt chnage so it could be 6 years and 38K overdue!
Or it could be 2 years overdue....
-

as for cambelt i would bite the bullet and re-place belt and tensioners , for piece of mind :y
