Title: My omega is shuddering/bumpy in 1st gear. Help!!!

Hi everyone. This is my 1st time using one of these forums so im a tad unsure how things work so please bare with me!
Ok,i have just bought my 2nd omega,it is a w reg,omega elite 2.5 v6 automatic,as was my last one which was a 1997 model. Great cars,so undervalued by so many.
Any way,i have a slight problem with my new car. I bought it a week ago and up until yesterday it was perfect to drive,however yesterday morning,on pulling away,there was a kind of shuddering/bumpyness in 1st gear,and the car didnt pull away as smoothly as it had been. This seems to go away after driving for a while,presumably after the engine has warmed up? Its fine as soon as it gets into 2nd gear and so on. so my question to everyone is can you please explain why this is happening and how do i fix it? Thanks very much for any help offered. Cam2502
