Title: anyone been to thetford centre parcs recently?

Never been, sorry. From what I hear, CentreParcs are really good but make sure you've got plenty of cash with you. Those guys really know how to charge.  :'(

Not for about 10yrs.  Nice enough, though expensive for the stay, and most activities except swimming are extra.

I like the idea of no cars - hire bikes, get drunk, try cycling back over the bridges without missing and going in the streams  ::)

 :)I regularly go to load out of Jeyes @ Thetford. Must be one of my few runs that does'nt involve motorways!!! Sorry do'nt know about ctr parcs but it's a nice part of the country. :D

I grew up in Thetford and live just round the corner from Centre Parcs these days.  It's a really nice place, alot better since it was re-built.

If you take a mountain bike with you, make sure it's locked up well if you leave it somewhere.  It's a common thing for Thetford lads to have a day out robbing bikes, the town is littered with them.
