Hi folks
I got me an Omega...
Actually, I've had it for about 3 years and love it. It is a 2.2 on a 52 plate with just under 65k on the clock.
Drives beautifully, (except for the Emission control light which is driving me nuts and the fact that the drivers door will now not lock when using the remote!!! - any ideas??)
It needed some TLC as I guess the previous owner had no idea how to look after it and so far I have had new brakes, new front springs, (apparently a common problem, one had broken) and a new cam belt just to be on the safe side.
The wife always complains that it get cleaned and polished far more than her car (Astra) does but what the heck.. just don't tell her that...
The drivers door had to be resprayed under warranty, (it was just inside the time limit - phew!) and scrubs up beautifully.
I'll post some pics shortly for opinions if that's ok?
Hope to speak soon

Welcome to OOF DezB :y
Fill out your profile with your location and car, that'll save a million questions. Like Entwood says EML is a common prob on the 2.2/2.6/3.2's. I've got a similar prob on my 2.2. So if you post your problem in general help they'll be more experts there :y
