Title: Hola
Post by: DinkyJ on 12 May 2009, 01:20:07
Evening :)

Thought I'd stop by again, I have an X25XE in a Ford Ka which will be an X30XE by the weekend, was looking to get some random info about some of Cadillac stuff as I'm sure some peeps on here will have experience of them :)

This is a photo of the car so you know I'm not making crap up like so many kids lol

Cheers peeps :)

The 2.5 doesn't torque steer, I'm running a layshaft so the shafts to the wheels are equal length and the power delivery so smooth, it's even better since fitting a 3.8 bar fuel pressure regulator :)

Here's a video of it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IIGfxrVppns

I'm really looking forward to the 3 litre as it'll be quite quick then!

I was on ebay on the weekend and the Cadillac CTS 3.6 engine caught my eye, I'd love to put one of those in there, they're a 60 degree V not 54 like the X25/30 Im trying to find out if the bell housing bolt pattern is the same so I could possibly get the shoe horn out again :)

Amazed at how you fit a 2.5 in, never mind a 3.6. Must be the ultimate sleeper ::)

The Vauxhall lump is quite compact, much more than the Ford lump, this is the 2.5 stripped of ancillaries :)
