It is, but not John Surtees.. :y

If not JS then must be Geoff Duke, and that could, possibly, be the bike he first got to 100mph at the TT ?? (later changed to just below 100)
Damn . just checked the books .. the 100 mph was on a gilera not a norton :(

No your not..
This machine is the original.I took it down to Cannes for Dunhill at the Palais de Festival. An exhibition..
I did not ride it it was in the back of the truck, we used to do an exhibition in Cannes every year for Dunhill the same at Goodwood festival of speed.
Very famous motor cyclist but none that has been mentioned.. :y

Only TT rider from that era not mentioned so far is Derek Minter !! unless of course it was not a TT bike ...
Edit :
From the comment in the other thread are you hinting Barry Sheene ?? but totaly the wrong era for a grand old bike like this ??

I never knew he rode a Norton. He must have been my favourite boyhood hero. I really wanted to be Barry Sheene. What a star.

No i do not own it Entwood..I collected it from an eccentric gentleman down the west country..The company i worked for just hired it.
It was like walking into the past. The picture of the bike alone was his workshop. So many really old machines there but a veri interesting chap to talk to..One of our crew did manage to put a small dent in the tank, it was left to me to take it back and explain..It cost the company a fortune which was passed on to Dunhill i think... I wish it was mine though.. :y
