Title: Oil Filters (for oil filter junkies)

It's not about Vauxhall, but still makes interesting read...:

So, for an extra £6.50 you can fit an oil filter that actually works as opposed to one that doesn't. Bit of a no brainer I would say.  :) :)

It is - going back to Vx, the GM one is only £1.10+VAT so is actually cheaper than the non-original ones  :P

Tho im suprised your 2.6 uses a metal type oil filter......i thought the 2.6/3.2 used the more expensive paper type  :-/

It doesn't... it uses the paper element type.... nor do I have a Honda... I am just an anorak normally curious so I read about these things.

Ahh ok.....i wondered why you quoted £1.10 for the oil filter......thats the price i pay for my 2.2  :y
Yours is £3.06+vat  :y
