Title: new to omega, used to be AUDI
Post by: pcd on 08 September 2009, 09:23:35
Hi,just bought omega 2.5tdi, 1996 elite, all leatherd up sorted climate control bulbs, thanks to this forum,im now going to tackle fuel pump as she is slow to start.i was running audi 80 tdi and i expected a bit more power from the omega, but the engine vibrates like a truck on tick over and seems a bit short of power when picking up from low reves, would appreciate contact with other tdi owners, also shows oil lack fault even though oil level is fine, would like to solve this problem but dont know where to look or the cost, hope to put it on the road soon, previous owner only averaged 5,000 a year and i dont think that helps, cars are made to drive, milage is only 130,000 quit a lot of service history and it has 12mt MOT,new exhaust, but needs wishbones, and a rear spring is broken, any one know if the ride hight at the rear can be lowerd, its got self leveling sus, bought car private for £600 which seem about right, other cars Audi cab 2.8 and an MGB in bits at the moment.PCD :y
