Title: Intemittent engine failure
Post by: zip289 on 19 November 2009, 21:24:50
My OMEGA 2.6 V6 just stopped whilst I was driving it yesterday. Wouldn't start again (just turned over), then after 10 minutes or so it started, only to stop again a few yards down the road. AA man thinks its the in-tank fuel pump as he's seen this a few times with this model. Any suggestions? >:(

Welcome to the forum :)

You would do better to post this question in the "General Help" section

http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?board=general

as more of the technical guys read there than here .. :)

have you done the pedal test ???  I'm thinking you might get code 19 ..

http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1189022687

do the test and post up results in "General Help "

This should really be posted in the general help section but as it's here.... click the link below my post and follow the instructions for the pedal trick and post the results in the general help section of the forum. My money's on crank sensor ;)
