Wow, thanks for the welcomes people :-)
Not wanting to be tooo enthusiastic and tell you all where I live, i'll go as far as to say I live near Junction 16 of the M6
I've owned this Miggy for a month having bought her from my girlfriends housemate who bought a Beemer (spits).
She's a '99 CDX, 2.5l V6 (yum)
Full leather interior with heated front seats,
Electric heated wingmirrors
64,000miles on the clock
Previous owner is a sound guy and had owned it for years and got his moneys worth, so when the baffle in the back box went and she started to sound rough, he decided enough was enough and was going to scrap it.
I suddenly needed a run around when my old Espace blew its head gasket so he offered me the Omega for £100 as he was quoted that as scrap value, so I took it. (But he took the stereo and cd changer...)
Needless to say, I knew about the baffle and he told me that it would cost £400 for a new exhaust.
I decided that changing the back box and checking the exhaust over would be a cheaper option and so far so good.
Tightened the bolts connecting the mid boxes to the cats and checking the new back box clamps proved successful.
However...
She sounds like a V8... I have a thread up about that currently
