Hi All. i'm new here and would like help in the following.
My Current audio system is the ccr 2006 with Bose in the boot.
What other head unit is plug and play compatible? would i still have steering controls and display working?
Thanks

None Im afraid, the Bose speakers etc will go bang if used with different unit - different (2?) ohms I think.
Welcome to OOF by the way.

welcome, dont blow yer speakers up, as far as i know if u change the radio u need to change the speakers and wire them up yourself as to bypass the amplifier

WELCOME ON BOARD!
unfortunately it aint that easy with the bose unit, if you want aftermarket headunit, you would need to strip out the bose kit (stereo,wires,amp)..

Wow. I am overwhelmed by the great welcome from you guys. Thanks to you all.
I been fitting amps in cars ever since i could remember.so replacing the Bose with a 5 or 6 channel amp is not a real problem.but i didn't want to loose the display and steering controls. it's sure looking that way.. :-/
