hey, just joined, picked up a new run around today, omega 2.2 2001 CD in blue. seems a really nice car and much better then the others i seen.
very tidy, fxsh, 80k miles, and 12 months mot.
cant see any large or noticable dents or scratches
but there is a couple little problems,
clutch seems high
far right of dash doesnt light up
and the electric height adjustment of drivers seat doesnt work!
will look around for some fixes
plan to maybe fit a few small things, but its mainly a runaround.

thanks everyone!
wanted a practicle run around... i was looking for a vectra 2.2 lol so i failed slightly!
but i had a pre facelift omega a few years ago 2.5 v6, that was high milage but loved it, drove like new, spent ages looking at cars, and they were all pretty crap for the money.
i looked at one 2001 v6 when i started it up blue smoke poured out and didnt clear! salesman said that was normal.....was also pretty crap bodywise
so when this one came up thought it was worth a look even tho the price looked a bit cheap, but with the history, and a decent test drive it seems go so far!
iam a little nervous about it being cheap lol too good to be true? has just passed the mot, mega service history, low owners (2) and miles (80k).
clutch is high, but figured it was worth buyin and getting a clutch when it goes, unless it can be adjusted?

i also have a 1984 cavalier that just failed a mot, not mega bad tho.
alfa 159 1.9 JTDm lusso  (only got it recently its my fav, the omega is for dogs, thrashing around localy as i liev out in sticks)
1987 belmont 1.8i, mot ran out xmas not decided what im doing with it lol
and a 1964 austin 1100.

anyway lol really nice to be back in an omega!
