Title: outside temperature
Post by: ejr1039 on 21 September 2006, 12:59:25
Hi all,
I have a 1994 Omega 2.5 V6 CDX, the outside temp tells me I could probably fry an egg on the pavment.
I have seen that on some Vauxhalls the sender is behind the front bumper, what I would like to know is, can this be reached with out taking the bumper off.
Thanks
ejr1039.

Yes. :)

The sensor is located at the bottom of the bumper on the passenger side, near the foglight. Unclips very easily, just reach under.

Replacement is very cheap from eBay, usually around £5

Met a Scottish couple in Madeira in August, they constantly looked like a couple of fried turkeys, and kept saying 'We're not used to this sort of heat'.
