anyboby out there got a 3 litre exhaust recirculation valve to sell...sits top left of engine.black thing with wires

Do you mean EGR valve? Yes, I have one from a 1999 MV6.

One option is to make up a copper or similar shim and blank it off.....

Careful Mark, you dont want to get between McB and folding stuff.
