I found this behind my ashtry when changing my climate bulbs.

I thought it might be something to do with the aerial but the hole is off centre & everything looks to be OK in there.
Sorry about quality of the pic, I don't have a macro facility.

My thought was aerial, but you've already ruled that out.... ...dunno, sorry.

ITS a thingey ma bob !!!! you know one of them twisty turny things that bolts on to the rotary dwingle valve ! ;D ;D
Is there a price for the first person to identify this mystery object !!!
Might have been a cracker as one of them " guess the object" on " ask the family " a few years ago !

Maybe something that someone has put in the ashtray for safekeeping and possibly nothing to do with your omega? Just a thought.

Very possible, need to take a look & see if there's a gap for it drop down behind the ashtray.

The answer is simple. If everything still works fine, it didn't need to be there in the first place and therefore there is no need to worry.
However, if you throw it away, you will no doubt discover about 3 days later that it was a vital component and will cost you £500 to replace! [smiley=grin.gif] oh, any they probably don't make them anymore either!

It looks like its off a pen.......but, the cambelt tensioner has something similar to ;).

OK, whereabouts does it need to go? (it's all coming out again this weekend) 'cos the hole's off centre & I couldn't see anywhere obvious for it, or will it be OK without.

Agreed :D Put it somewhere very safe......but not somewhere so safe you carnt find it again (speaks from experience with 4 spark plugs and still havent found them ;D )
