HI,
I'm considering takiing the plunge and buying my first Omega. I'm interested in a 2002 2.6L MV6 Auto 4DR saloon in Silver, is there anything in particular I should avoid/look out for? I'm looking at a sub 50K mile one at the moment and wandered what I should pay for a mint car, well that's what the advert says..?
Cheers, Mike

As with any car - service history, signs of wear, body panel damage, alignment etc.
Particularly with an Omega - cambelt and rollers essential - and on that mileage should have ben done within the year ( 40k latest)
Rocker covers can leak - check spark plug wells for oil, listen for exhust manifold noises. Suspension & wishbones can be a weak spot but not necessarily a huge problem. As for price - quite a premium - by Omega Standards - on that car, that mileage and that year ( nice choice :))
