Every time the indicator is used, the warning lights for the abs and traction control come on, then even more weirdly the fog light switch starts flashing on and off, and the fog light indication on the display starts flicking on and off. Also the radio/warning display on the dash, is also flashing on and off.
Have checked the fuses they all seem ok.
The really strange thing is, if you turn the ignition off and back on again everything is normal until you use the indicator stalk.
Have also noticed that the indicator audiable sound is much quicker on occasion.
What does everyone think?
Idn't think it can be as simple as peplacing the indicator stalk, as much more seems to be going on.
:( :-/

I had a VERY simelar problem on my old 2.5cdx.
The problem was - someone had previously taken the dash out, but didn't replace one of the screws on re-fitting, so even thouth it felt secure to touch, it was coming forwards a fraction causing a loose connection/bad earth.

Thanks for the info James...... :y

Does giving it a whack on top of the dash fix it? :o If so then very likely as James says
-
yup, a whack or a poke often used to fix it ;D

Knock seven shades of crap out of a £20,000+ motor car....and hooray it fixes it.
Cheers people.
Perhaps my day is not so bad after all. :y

Good luck :)

Pop the instrument panel out, you should then be able to see the main dash earth point on the metal dash support bracket (near the steering column), I bet its loose.
