Hi,
they say the only replacement for an Omega is another Omega so that's what I did ;)
Last week I exchanged my S reg 2.0 CD Saloon for a S reg 2.0 CD Estate.
Well the dealer said we can't get the fog lights working so can you bring it in at the weekend
When I got home a quick look in the spare wheel area revealed the problem
The previous owner had removed the towbar and 'Towbar Electrics'
and did not put back the blanking plug with the loopback cable for the fog lights.
A quick trip to the breakers and Bingo fog lights ;D

:y If only it was always that simple ;D

Are you sure it wasn't your crank sensor. It usually is when Vx look for faults ;D
Well done - shame they didn't think to look there first. :(

I had a similar electrical issue with the black omega which involved running a fresh cable front to back.
Rear fogs now work again jobs a goodun.
