Title: Heated passenger seat - Omega Elite estate

The heating element has burned a hole in the front seat upholstery (and my wifes anorak!).  Seems dangerous to me.  Has anyone had a similar problem?  Is it a known fault? Seat is in good condition otherwise and has not been abused nor got wet.  Thanks for any info.

Never heard of this happening before. How old is your car?

I've seen it once before, cloth seats on an elite. Left a hole about 1cm in diameter...
