Title: LPG conversion/Dual fuel/Gas advice
Post by: lachleaves on 07 January 2007, 15:48:24
Anyone got any views or experience on LPG conversions??

Just picked up my Omega - 2.5 V6 - crossed my mind to convert it as I've had a dual fuel vehicle before.

Just wondered what's the cheapest option?

Cheapest option is a DIY kit for £800, a user here called Martin Imber fitted LPG to his 2.6 V6 Omega  :y

Yes Martin will be able to advise on DIY installation.....other wise you probably looking at circa £2k for a company to convert the V6 for you.

Mine was £1850....altho i paid in that, £150 extra for a donut tank....so it would have been £1700 for a cylinder tank in the boot......but then you have 2 more cylinders than me so im guessing at the £2k mark
