MOT?
-
It's got 8 months MOT and 3 months Tax, might be a bargain if it's an easy fix. Just looking for ideas on what the problem is...
If the box is shagged then I'll leave well alone, but if it's a known issue I can cure, I'll watch it ;D

£100 quid - if you've got the room get it and then worry about it later. :y

That does sound more like a box fault.... ...may get away with fresh fluid??

Its high mileage.
Dont get dazzled by a low price, assume it needs another box and I would also budget for rear shocks, front struts and an a/c condensor plus the usual 'service' items such as cam belt and tyres. Work out the likely costs and set yourself a limit.
No...Im not bidding on it and trying to put anyone off, my last estate had 150k on it when I moved it on so I know what can be needed on higher mileage barges.
